Product Line Optimization for Car-Sharing Platforms in the Sustainable Transportation

چکیده

As the sharing economy develops in sustainable transportation, car-sharing platforms improve allocation efficiency of idle cars to customers. However, as travel demand increases, and vehicle type becomes various, market faces a new challenge satisfy customers’ diverse needs for quality-differentiated cars. Each customer would like choose right car type, while manufacturing firm e-commerce platform should set price profit maximization. How match platform’s product line with customer’s choice behavior problem all stakeholders economy. From perspective heterogeneity, we establish game-theoretic framework study optimization business-to-consumer (B2C) consumer-to-consumer (C2C) sharing. We solve optimal quality decision pricing strategy In numerical experiments, investigate how sensitivity cost can jointly influence profits transportation. Our findings show that within line, firm’s selling C2C is negatively influenced by sharer’s valuation, B2C independent either buyer’s valuation. give some policy implications scholars, practitioners, policymakers point out limitations recommendations design.

Sustainable Passenger Transportation: Dynamic Ride-sharing

Ride-share systems, which aim to bring together travelers with similar itineraries and time schedules, may provide significant societal and environmental benefits by reducing the number of cars used for personal travel and improving the utilization of available seat capacity. Effective and efficient optimization technology that matches drivers and riders in real-time is one of the necessary com...

Electric-vehicle car-sharing in one-way car-sharing systems considering depreciation costs of vehicles and chargers

In recent years, car-sharing systems have been announced as a way to increase mobility and to decrease the number of single-occupant vehicles, congestion, and air pollution in many parts of the world. This study presents a linear programming model to optimize one-way car-sharing systems for electric cars considering the depreciation costs of chargers and vehicles as well as relocation cost of v...

Optimization Study of Transportation Assignment for Oil Product Secondary Distribution

Abstract This paper proposes an optimization scheme of the transportation assignment for the oil product secondary distribution. Firstly, for the multi-variety oil product a cost model of the secondary distribution system for the oil product is established. Then a transportation assignment scheme is designed with the table-manipulation method. Based on the proposed transportation assignment sch...

Software Product Line Engineering for Long-Lived, Sustainable Systems

The design and operation of long-lived, sustainable systems (LSS) are hampered by limited support for change over time and limited preservation of system knowledge. The solution we propose is to adopt software product-line engineering (SPLE) techniques for use in single, critical systems with requirements for sustainability. We describe how four categories of change in a LSS can be usefully han...
